First Impression:
Full juniper bouquet in the nose with a hint of coriander and angelica at the back end. Not a lot of citrus unlike a lot of other gins these days - something different!
Taste:
The heady juniper made me suspect I would be overwhelmed by the it, but this is definitely not the case. The taste was very delicate and balanced, almost ethereal and understated. Warming end but no burn. Delicious!
This is both a wonderful Gin for a beginner and a treat for the jaded palatte. It has a wonderful light touch of botanicals and has the smell and delicacy that only organic ingredients carefully distilled give that sets it apart from the average gin. Well worth a try!
Appearance:
Clear, oily, good legs to it without being too much (too oily and we would suspect a chemical 'enhancement').
Drinks :
We tried the gin in martinis, gin and tonics and a few more. It is wonderful as a martini with a twist of lemon or an olive (an unusual thing: most gins seem to work with one but not both). In a gin and tonic it was quite light and refreshing - none of that aftershave smell that some of the lesser gins give you.
Bottle: Attractive frosted glass - a French style wine or brandy bottle. Muted but attractive graphics have a "Western" flair.

Micro-distilled from 100% natural grains, fresh Northwest botanicals and hand picked wild juniper berries. Oregon mountain spring water filtered through volcanic lava rock. No chemical additives or aromatic fragrances.
