The site intends to be comprehensive and, thus, is interested in reviewing
any and all products. Good reviews, however, are guaranteed only for a good
product. I will be as fair as possible and differentiate the ratings on value
and price. (In other words we will not expect as much from a moderately priced
item as a premium or super premium priced product and will evaluate each item
within its own class).

some of them are listed in our links section. It is our intention to have
one of the largest links sections available because we believe that sharing
of this knowledge and information will help you make informed and wise choices.
It will cover a wide range of subjects and resources. Hopefully this will
help you on your quest to finding the best the spirits world has to offer.
A Further Explanation on Categories
On this page we break down the reviews into common categories (Bourbon, Gin, Rum, etc.) for the sake of simplicity for both you the visitor, and frankly, ourselves, too. However, each product is evaluated under a very specific category (or subcategory, within a type, if you like), listed at the top of the specific review. For example: Dutch Gin (Genever), London Dry Gin, and American Gin, are evaluated as separate subcategories as they are completely different types of gin and so are evaluated separately on their merits within that category.
The same applies to spirits such as Vodka, Liqueurs, etc., where there are wide variations of ingredients, types, and styles. Whereas with Bourbon there is less variation on ingredients and styles. (In the future, I'll generate a list of categories and styles (as I perceive them anyway) and list them somewhere on this site for reference). These ratings, coupled with the price/value rating (also influenced by category type), are designed to hopefully help vistiors identify good values. As I add more reviews to the webpage, this will become more clear. . .
