Recently we have been experimenting with a new Elderflower liquor called St Germain a really great product that has some exciting mixology qualities .

Paris Manhattan or Sainted Manhattan

3 oz Bourbon (Eagle Rare 10 or similar quality)
1/2 oz (to 1 0z) St Germain
1/2 ( to 1 oz) Noilly Prat Dry (White) Vermouth
Dash of Regans #6 Optional (forgive for saying that Gary)
Pour all ingredients into shaker over ice then stir until cold (30 seconds)

Martini Glass
St Pegu

Basically a twist on a Pegu Club substituting St Germain for Cointreau,Curacao, etc.,

An interesting side point by the way for a LOT more cocktail possibilities is when you mix lime juice and St Germain it comes out tasting a lot like grapefruit juice.

Angor Wat  Cocktail
Martini, Coupe or Champagne
3 oz parts Cognac, Armagnac or Brandy
1/2 oz St.Germain
1/2 oz Dry Vermouth (Noilly Prat or similar)
2 Dashes Orange Bitters (Regans or Fee's - best is to mix them together 50/50 first)
Shake or Stir (I prefer stirred) with ice.
Strain and Garnish with Lemon zest or Cherry

Le Petit Mort or The Sun Also Rises
Champagne Flute (chilled)
3/4 oz St Germain
3/4 oz Absinthe (personally prefer Kubler for US customers- could also use Lucid)
Champagne to fill
(Chilled Champagne glass is best)
Pour in the Absinthe first then the St. Germain, adding the Champagne to fill the glass.
Add Maraschino cherry as garnish.
Interplay of ingredients make for an interesting louche (opalescence)
Name origin: Variation of "Death in the Afternoon" - One of Hemingway’s favorite drinks. Hence Le Petite Mort - which also has a sexual innuendo/double entendre referring to orgasm. Alternative name is also of course reference to Hemingway and how the cherry looks in the drink.
